Joshua Brown grew up in the wilds of Port Orchard, Washington. Learning to be a man, he played cowboys and indians, army men, and harassed his 4 sisters and brother. With a childhood pyrotechnic career brought short by a small house fire, Joshua Brown grew to be interested in the art of Filmmaking. Having grown up on the classics, he was heavily influenced by an older style and grew to appreciate the art in cinematography and film as a storytelling medium.

In 2003 Joshua Brown and Chet Abbott combined their raw forces of nature to form Fury Films. In 2011, Joshua Brown moved to Los Angeles California where he is a producer at Fury Films.
